Liquid coolers excel at delivering cooling to concentrated heat sources such as laser diodes and for delivering cooled fluid into remote or compact locations where the cooling assembly itself cannot be located. The basic operation is simple: fluid flows in one tube, it is cooled, and then it flows out the other tube. An external pump is required, and typically small DC magnetic-drive pumps are used to minimize the amount of pump power (heat) that is imparted to the fluid.
LC-066SS
Capacity Rating: 66 watts at a 0°C temperature difference.
Example Applications: Recirculating water chillers, cooling in-process fluid, and gas drying in analytical instruments.
Features: A four-pass stainless steel liquid loop provides a very good thermal link between the fluid and the four thermoelectric modules. Can be used for heating and cooling. Optional mixer coils can be added to improve performance at low flow rates or with viscous fluids. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC and is compatible with all of our temperature controllers. The fan is speed is also controllable when used with the TC-720 series controllers.
LC-102SS

Features: High-density bonded-fin heat sink, an eight-pass liquid loop, and six thermoelectric modules for high capacity in a compact size. As with all of our liquid coolers it can be customized with swirl inserts in the liquid loop to improve efficiency at low flow rates. Can be used for heating and cooling. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC and is compatible with the TC-720 series, TC-36-25 series, and TC-48-20 series temperature controllers.
LC-SSX1
Typically attached to our standard cold plate coolers to make a liquid cooler with a 316 stainless steel (SS) liquid path. The LC-SSX1 is a heat sink / passive exchanger only; and the capacity of system will vary depending on the cold plate cooler to which it is attached. Used alone it has a 0.033 K/W thermal resistance at a 25 °C, 1.6 L/minute water flow rate. Useful for laboratory instruments, laser diode cooling, medical products, recirculating chillers, or temperature baths utilizing high purity or corrosive liquids.
MP-3874 Mixer Coils
Typically installed in the LC-066SS liquid cooler or LC-SSX1 heat exchanger (which can then be attached to our standard cold plate coolers to make a liquid cooler with a 316 stainless steel (SS) liquid path). The MP-3874 mixer coils provide an inexpensive way to increase heat transfer and overall heat pumping capacity, particularly in low flowrate applications and/or with high-viscosity fluids.
